YT2 Construction – Project Highlights

YT2 Construction has worked on a wide range of projects across Yukon, including several for the Yukon Government and upgrades at Whitehorse General Hospital. Their experience also includes sustainable builds such as one of the territory’s leading high-performance, energy-efficient homes, heritage restorations with Yukon Government Historic Sites, community retrofits like Kaushee’s Place Women’s Shelter, and housing and agricultural initiatives with First Nations partners. With a consistent record of completing projects on time and within budget, YT2 has become a reliable partner for both government and community clients.

Healthcare & Public Facilities

  • Whitehorse General Hospital – Outdoor Cultural Space: Awarded by the Yukon Hospital Corporation, this project involves the design and construction of an outdoor cultural space at Whitehorse General Hospital. The project adds an important community-focused space within the hospital environment, reflecting YT2’s experience delivering specialized public and healthcare infrastructure.

  • Whitehorse General Hospital: YT2 Construction has completed numerous renovations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements in partnership with the Yukon Hospital Corporation, including infection-control work and projects within active hospital environments. Their experience demonstrates their ability to deliver complex work safely while maintaining hospital operations.

  • Contributed to the Whistle Bend Facility project, supporting growth and improved care for the Whitehorse community.

Community & Social Infrastructure

  • Led the retrofit of Kaushee’s Place Women’s Shelter, funded in part by CMHC, enhancing safety, efficiency, and comfort.

  • Fish Ladder Repair Project, Whitehorse (ATCO Electric): Completed repair work supporting the continued function and reliability of important local infrastructure.

  • Worked with Kwanlin Dün First Nation on the Tiny House Project to help address local housing needs.

  • First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun Community Farm House Upgrade – Led the comprehensive residential and structural modernization of the central farmhouse at the 320-acre Partridge Creek Farm property near Mayo, YT. Working alongside the Nation, we delivered high-quality winterization and facility improvements to support year-round staff operations, agricultural training programs, and land-based community healing initiatives.

Heritage & Cultural Restoration

  • Restored several historic Yukon sites in partnership with the Yukon Government and Historic Sites.

  • Collaborated with the Yukon Government Heritage Unit and the Atlin Historical Foundation to preserve culturally significant buildings and landmarks.

Government & Union Projects

  • Delivered a range of government-funded initiatives, consistently meeting required standards and expectations.

  • Participated in multiple Carpenters Union projects, providing skilled leadership and trade expertise.

Custom Homes & Sustainable Builds

  • Experienced in constructing custom homes in Yukon, including one of the territory’s leading high-performance, energy-efficient residences.
